’Lemon Tree is a spiritual successor to a piece called Ruminate released in 2014 from an album called Awake / Night. The questions I was asking back then, the confusion I was trying to unknot, finally unravelled itself. In a way that I now know and understand, including knowing that the work continues but at least I know the task. I’m now, finally, wearing the right shoes to walk forward. Here?’

"A dedication to my sister Fiona. She led a life for two months, thus avoiding the complex world that her siblings were born into. Mortality is a subject that has been speaking to me for a while. It seems that everything that I was being drawn to during the conception of this music had an element of teaching on that subject. Each moment is now, and now is each moment. To live knowing that it is a blessing that we wake up each morning with an opportunity to live, learn, make mistakes, grow, express, create, love, and reach towards being a better human being.”

"These are a few of the first recording I ever did as a kid in 2004. In a way I see these as being the purest music I ever made as I had no concept or idea of the technical aspect of music, basically I had no idea of what I was doing.I have many recordings like this on tapes and mini-disks, I chose these four to put up as I thought it would be interesting to have my baby photos of the mantelpiece.”
