Marley Starskey Butler is an interdisciplinary artist and social worker. They create work that weaves together storytelling, memory, and emotional landscapes to explore how people make meaning from their personal and collective narratives within systems of care. Grounded in both professional and familial experience across child protection, fostering, adoption, and mental health, their practice centres well-being, social justice, and human rights. These experiences inform both the content and methodologies of their work, positioning them at an intersection of art and social care.
Born in 1987 in Leeds, England.
Raised by Wolverhampton, nurtured by Derby, currently residing and working in Birmingham, England.
